I tend to try to do The Right Thing when I play videogames, which typically means stopping badguys in as non-lethal a way as possible. Red Dead Redemption gives you a non-lethal lasso towards that goal, but everyone you fight has a gun and therefore the ability to instantly murder you while you're swinging your stupid lasso around like an idiot.
