Okie doke, I'll take another shot at getting her then. Hopefully she doesn't try attacking Seth again...

I'm guessing the towers are the best for grinding the trainees? Woopadoop I sure know how to play Fire Emblem

Are you in Ephraims story or Eirikas? I know in Ephraims I can easily clear a hole for franz or ephraim to recruit her safely, but I know it's a bit harder in Eirika's.

Also, if you don't want Seth killing her, un-equip his weapon. I'm sure he can take the beating. It's my favorite tactic for recruiting enemies.

Oh yeah, and at the point in the story where you can recruit Amelia, franz should be just as strong if not stronger than seth, due to his amazing growths. I usually end up at a point mid-late game where Franz can basically solo most missions, with everyone else just there for cleanup and efficiency.

Not to say there's anything particularly wrong with using Seth. My first playthrough I basically beat the whole game with him.

Although my party got total wiped at the final boss, I think just the twins and maybe one or two other people survived.

I usually turn Amelia into a Paladin, Ewan into a Druid, and Ross into a Warrior. My favorite characters, however, disregarding stats, are Colm and Knoll. They're cool.

20 hours into Awakening. Here are my pairs (spoiler tags just in case):
Chrom and My Unit: This was actually an accident.
Sully and Kellam: Cause they were cute together.
Vaike and Cordelia: I dunno why.
Cherche and Lon'qu: This was way sweeter than I thought it was going to be.
Tharja and Stahl: God, Tharja is the best.
Henry and Panne: T-this actually works.
Donnel and Nowi: Yes.
Working on some other pairs. Trying to get those Paralogues and stuff.

I always fail to get into the support conversations, as I either forget about them or am too invested in my tactics.

It's easier in Awakening with the whole Pair-up system. Much, MUCH quicker than the last games as well.
I do them in PoR and RD a lot, but it's not my top priority.

So I've got Lon'qu and Panne paired up and it's oddly fitting. It's funny hearing Yarne constantly worry that every time Lon'qu ever speaks to a woman, he's planning to cheat on Panne, thereby causing Yarne to never be born, Back to the Future-style.

Mostly because we all know how well Lon'qu deals with women.

Dangit, if I'd known that Miriel was going to get a crit boosting skill that actives when she's alone, I wouldn't have given her so many supports.

I don't have anyone paired up yet, but Sully and Vaike and Miriel and Stahl have B supports.

Did they hide where each character's support type is or am I not looking hard enough

Also I already hate Vaike

Support type? If you mean affinity, I don't think they have those in this game.
