AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I liked his voice. It was a bit hard to understand, but I like it when a singer has an accent. The music was real jaunty and upbeat, and it put me in a good mood. I enjoyed it. 7/10 Oompa Loompas dancing.

If you want a case of annoying voice, then try Queensryche. He's okay in a few of their songs, but his voice just annoys me in a lot of them.

It's unfair to compare the two, but they sound like they've just tried to emulate Iron Maiden. I actually prefer when bands take inspiration from their favourites instead of try to be them. Queensryche just sounds like a cheap knock-off.

That's it! My friend brought his guitar to school one day and played that song, but I forgot to ask him for the name of it. I'm not sure if I can review it since I've technically heard it (only the guitar), but I'm going to anyway. I like how soft it is, and the singer has a pretty great voice (reminds me of Jeff Healey for some reason), and I love the nice little acoustic guitar going on there. Great song...added to my favorites. 8.5/10


Not sure if this song would be considered something everyone's heard. I don't know anyone that's heard it, but Audioslave is a pretty big name band. Whatever, here it is.

Didn't really do much for me. I didn't really like the singer's voice, honestly speaking. The song was pretty straightforward too and not in a very good sense. Might pass as background radio noise. 5/10

Here's one of the bands that introduced me to metal when I was 12.

Definitely something to listen to before a concert or before working out.; But not exactly my type of rock. A nice 8/10.

I'm sure it works for some people... but I was cringing throughout. The vocals were reaaaaally not my thing. The lyrics were ok once it hit the chorus. I dunno. I kinda want to find something about it that I liked but I'm coming up empty. Sorry man.

The only song from them that I had heard before was Blow Me Away (instrumental) from Halo 2. As for this one, it was very simple and straightforward which seems to be what all mainstream hard rock is like. It didn't really do anything for me at all. The singer had an okay voice I guess though not for my tastes.

I've honestly no idea what people would be likely to have heard before. I've not listened to the radio in probably 12 or so years.

Loved it until the lyrics kicked in then just kinda liked it. Not being a big fan of metal, it just sounds like every other metal song.

I ever tell you that I'm a big sucker for trumpets? Well, I am. Even if I didn't understand what they were saying, I enjoyed the rhythm of the vocals and the instruments. Didn't sound very...punky...but I don't really listen to that much punk so I'm a pretty poor judge of that. I give it 7.5 scary guys in dreadlocks out of 10.

Is this one of those 2hu's that's so popular nowadays? It's sounds so neeeat. I love it. It's got this really kinetic sort of feel, but it never gets out of hand. It sounds really fighting game-y if that makes sense.

I was on the edge of "is this okay or just annoying" throughout the whole song but ended up leaning towards the latter. I didn't really like the song's rhythm either. One healthy breast out of two.

Time for some of Dream Theater's older stuff.

I quite like it. Sounds like what a lot of bands I listen to have taken inspiration from. 10/10 backstage passes.

Very nice. Very grunge. Not my cup of tea but a good one as fas as I can tel. 6/10.
