So yeah looks like the mafia went after me.

Does that mean they were trying to get Reyo in trouble, or was it Reyo who WAS the trouble?

That is the current question.

I don't particularly know what to do, but I'd like to get more opinions.

Let's dissect Reyo to find out.

Though, I'm interested in hearing from more people before we hunt Reyo or framers.

Since there's no way of knowing which it was, ignore it for now but keep it in mind?

We don't have any more leads, unless you count "who started the Cynical Slob bandwagon" but that one is just as rife with uncertainty.

Runes was the one who voted for Cynic first.



Alec brought to our attention that Cynic was inactive, but he didn't vote for him.

Alec seems more suspect than Runes in that respect.

Planting the seed for a possible lynch, but not getting personally involved.

I just looked back at the posts Alec has made in this thread.

I'm seeing a pattern very similar to Crisp. He's been incredibly passive during the whole game.

Seriously though, I'm trying to figure this out. Why would the mafia target Turbo not once, but twice (with the hooker night 2, then the attempted kill night 3)? Maybe being hooked on Night 2 was a coincidence but then going for the kill the next night?

Regardless of whether or not Reyo is innocent, could there be a reason Turbo was hooked Night 2?

Anyway, I figured I'd be on the block (again) so I'm more than willing to give you guys any sort of information you want.

I figured (more hoping) that my making claims I was going to be maf'd last night would prevent me from actually getting maf'd (since it'd be too obvious to actually maf the guy who's predicting it). As for the mafia then killing (or trying to kill) people to get me in trouble, I figured that much as well, for that I apologize to Turbo and completely understand why I'm being scrutinized.

To that, however, all I really have to offer is the same argument I had for Turbo's suspicion. My suggestion that the gunsmith should out himself was made in ignorance that the mafia could very well have a gun. If you go back, you'll notice I actually took the suggestion back as soon as I was reminded by Kamak that the mafia could very well have a gun and shoot him doc or not.

As for Turbo being targeted, I fully agree that it was most likely because she suspected me, so they tried to kill her to get me in trouble (turbo died the night after she fingered reyo, omgwtfwallhax!). We were lucky she had a gun because then it meant the mafia died instead of her. To that, I just have to ask one question: we're I mafia, why would I go after the person who suspected me, thus putting the finger back on me, ESPECIALLY after that suspicion was lifted and put on someone else? That's counterproductive as hell. I wouldn't want to kill her even if I had a gun and wanted to do it because "how dare she suspect me" because it would do the same thing as killing her as a mafia, put the finger back on me, with the added fact that it'd be a completely misguided reason to kill anyone as a townie, especially while we were in the situation we were in yesterday. She definitely had justification to suspect me. I made a silly suggestion and I had to defend against it, which I did. To me, it only makes sense that the events that transpired were the mafia seeing a chance to get me in trouble and taking it, only it backfired.

If after all this you still want to lynch me, however, then I don't really have too much else to say, except the other thing I said yesterday which was that you'll just feel silly when I come up a villager (like I did when slob turned up villager).

Yeah I have a feeling they were just throwing out random names for their hooking because we only have two roles left to hook, and no real knowledge of who they are. Why they tried to kill me I have no idea.

In my defense, I forgot about Mafia due to my computer dying a horrible, College-Antivirus related death. By the time I was back, the votes were in.

Though, to be honest, the only argument I can present to defend myself is that there are people more suspicious than me in this thread, maybe? If not, then welp, I'm doing something wrong.

I go by avatars when wildly assuming sex. I deny all responsibility and guilt.

As I said before, that could be a viable tactic to look so obviously scummy that people think "nah, that would be too obvious."
I'm not saying I suspect you, but it's a possibility.
