I had family over this Christmas and we played New Super Mario Bros U. My death rate went up quite a lot that session.

I also wanted to play some Nintendoland with them, but we never got around to that. I'll never play Mario Chase. :(

I should swap NNIDs with other forumites sometimes.

Wish Ninty could patch NL to make it online multiplayer. It would be SO FUN.

Ah well. I was able to play a bunch of minigames with my family on Saturday since they were over. I owned at Mario Chase, lost a few rounds of Luigi's Ghost Mansion, and wanted to play Metroid Blast but none of my family members have the proper reflexes for that kind of game. ;_;

So...I'm gonna get Scribblenauts Unlimited for Breanna for her bday.

Is it as fun as the other two?

I have it for the PC and it's pretty goddamn fun. In the Wii U there are more unlockables and easter eggs if I'm not mistaken.

The world is neat, open, and you can do a lot of things even if the notepad is not unlimited (false advertising :shakefist: )

But yeah, it's lots of fun. My main complaint is that this game is addicted to using robots and vampires and zombies in its challenges, and that some of the tasks are bland, but overall, it's a good buy (At least for the PC)

EDIT: I liked it more than the original one, but I've never played Super Scribblenauts, so I can't say that it's better. It's still really good, though.

ZombiU is at least worth a rental. It can be a tad tedious at times, but it has a lot of solid ideas for a Survival Horror game.

The Wonderful 101 is looking even better as more information comes out.

Looks like my wallet is going to be doing some crying this year.

A few news:

A bunch of great news about new games.

New Zelda with 'multiplayer' story mode? Sweet.

Also, Wind Waker for Wii U (Not backwards compability, but an actual remake)
Majora Mask would probably be a better choice, but this remake is still good news

I believe they're still planning to release MM for the 3DS after they come out with a new 3DS Zelda.

Besides which, they already have the engine and a lot of the graphics from OoT3D.

Watched the new Nintendo Direct and am quite interested in that Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem cross-over (despite it being merely an announcement with no gameplay/name) and that new game by Monolith Soft. It looks somewhat akin to that of a monster hunter game but with futuristic weaponry such as swords that can fire lasers and a mecha.

Never got the chance to play the original Wind Waker. This is a good announcement.
