REEEEVIIIIVE!

I tried cooking that fried chicken that's covered in some sort of crumbs?

So I forgot you dip it in flour and then you dip it in eggs.

I mixed the eggs and flour together before dipping the chicken in it.
It was like egg tasting bread wrapped chicken.

When I fry chicken I actually just dip it in flour, no eggs. Works fine for me

Oh the crumbed chicken? I guess it was more of a battered chicken then, which is fine if the batter was seasoned.

EDIT: Made pasta with peas, corn, tuna and mayo. Super budget. Following up with iced coffee and tiny teddies for dessert.

Don't freak out or nothin.... but what are panko bread crumbs? What makes 'em different from regular bread crumbs?

Also. Have you tried cornflake crumbs? I've been eyeing them curiously.

Electrocuted bread crumbs? Shit man, This is why the Japanese are world class innovators.

Alright, next time I do crumbed chicken, I'm getting on this panko shit. And if they aren't everything you say they are....

I'll probably blame myself for being a terrible cook and my failure as an affront to the people of Japan.

Panko bread crumbs are more like really tiny croutons than most other bread crumbs. They're bigger and crunchier, and just make things better by existing.

They help make god-tier meatloaf too.

Isn't that against the Geneva Convention?

Spoony's actually wrong. Panko bread crumbs are made from bread that's been cooked with an electric current, so it cooks homogeniously without an outer (darker) crust. The crumbs themselves aren't electrocuted, so it's all good.

So... the bread is electrocuted? Then turned into crumbs?

That seems to be the case, only it's the dough that gets electrocuted.

Look I am not a scientist

nor am I a baker

but the end product is bread crumbs

and at some point in the production process electrocution is involved

I don't think I need to know more than this to give the product my full support
