Read Plugged by Eoin Colfer. Apparently the guy got sick of writing for kids and decided to make the jump to adult fiction HARD. Pointless sex scenes and swearing abound. Felt like he was trying a bit too hard.

Still, very Colfer. Clever dialogue and plot, good characters. All very well thought out until some moment at the end that was completely out of left field.

Having a library in your home is pretty swag though.

when i grown up and build a house it's going to have a small bookshelf full of my fiance's shitty programming books, but it'll be a secret doorway to my personal library which will have a window seat like this:

with lights in the walls and it'll be super cozy and warm and wonderful

it will be GLORIOUS

I'm 10 minutes before outbreak

Now I'm shortly before the massacre at Ffirth Asylum.
And call me crazy but I don't think it's going to be the college kids killing some zombies and looking all cool and shit. At least not for more than 5 seconds.
I can't wait! Dead Hipster kids everywhere!

I think I might start reading my copy of Hyperion tomorrow, or pick up the copy of The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland, and Led the Revels There I had on hold, I dunno.

I finally finished the Hobbit. It was pretty good and now I can "spoil" the movie for people. I started reading "LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring" today. I expect that it will be a good book, but the prologue is putting me to sleep.

Started reading some Salvatore novels. I started with the Icewind Dale Trilogy because it was the first one written and I wanted to go in chronological order, but now I'm thinking I should have read the prequel Dark Elf Trilogy first.

Is the prologue the part where he rambles about kinds of pipe tobacco? You can pretty much skip that entirely I think.
