Rising was a failure? But it hasn't even come out yet?

MGS: Rising was the original project by Kojima studios, which ultimately failed to even produce good core gameplay. MGR: Revengence is Platinum's answer to the watermelon cutting question.

They slammed KojiPro pretty daisies hard in their videos. I would want to ruin someone else's work too while suffering from a case of butthurt after being showed up by Platinum.

Also, everyone should go read TheDarkId's LP of Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.

I read somewhere that the grumps are keeping up with Sonic 06 because one of them (I can't remember which) wants to see if he can beat it without ragequitting/going insane.

Man, the Grumps must suck pretty hard at DK Crash Course, considering that it took me about 5 minutes to beat the first level.

I mean, what with the THREE WHOLE VIDEOS SPENT ON IT WITH NOBODY BEATING IT I thought it was going to be, you know, hard.

The main thing that's difficult about DK is getting used to how fast/slow you need to go and what to do in the obstacles (Course 3 and 4 are where you'll want to kill yourself). Once you know how to get past Area 9 and 10, it becomes cake.

Besides which, the grumps constantly were putting the gamepad flat, which fucks with the gyrometer, and were tilting willy nilly, killing themselves constantly. Chances are, they weren't putting their attention into it at first and just screwing around, as usual.

Matt & Woolie's (And Liam's) playthrough of Fusion is going rather well. They're rolling through the bosses at a solid pace but aren't picking up that many missile tanks. Thing is they haven't noticed yet that a charged shot can substitute for a missile, and are living in constant fear of running out of them during boss fights.

They were fighting the brain-tank boss (the B.O.X.) and they managed to finish the first fight (it runs away and you fight it later) with the very last missile they had, which was pretty lucky.

I can't believe Pat spent 20 minutes running around before releasing he was using the wrong spell type, then found the sapphire effigy without knowing it even existed.

Woolie seems to be getting worse at the game though, I mean I was actually chuckling at how bad he was at dodging those flame pillars.

To be fair, Serris and the Security Bot are fairly challenging bosses.
Still, If this is indicative of how Woolie will be at the game, I can't wait 'till Nightmare. And the Final Boss.

On another note, I'm surprised Rising Superstar Liam new about Sakamoto being super creepy. From the Let's Watch, I thought that was actually not well known, because no the of the guys knew about it. I'm kinda glad it got mentioned though.

Woolie seems to learn thanks to dying to the bosses and the advice he gets from Matt and Rising Superstar Liam. He did a bang-up job on Serris, although it could be attributed to luck since the thing flew by the same placemost of the time. Woolie seemed to learn the proper timing for shooting Serris by himself, though. Nightmare has more of a recognizable pattern to him than Serris did, and so does Yakuza (The super-annoying spider boss). Hopefully by that time he'll develop some solid twitch skills. Keyword "Hopefully".

In other Let's Play news I'm glad that Chip Cheezum is back on track with his Peace Walker LP after Blip decided to take down all of his videos. He and SnarkCookie make a great team. Up next they're fighting Peace Walker, and that should be fun. I also want to see what they say about the horseback chase scene that comes afterward.

Now that the grumps are done with Sonic's story, they move on to Shadow's.
And do you know what THAT means, kids?
VEHICLE SEGMENTS.
God help us all.
