Pretty simple. Name your favorite bands/artists and also do you play an instrument?

I play the cello, and I also did marimba and xylophone in high school.

Ame, with the exception of Hendrix and Aerosmith, your list is pretty metal.

Cold Fridge, for some variety, go with bands like The Who and The Doors. And of course, PANK Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Maybe The Rolling Stones, if you're into that kind of thing, but I think everyone on the planet is over the Stones after that Superbowl performance.


So, this thread. I've listed my favorite bands on this forum before, and even though you won't be able to find them, I still don't feel incredibly motivated to do so again.

But I will talk about what instruments I play. Primarily, I sing. Secondar...i...ly, I play the piano. I am going to college this year, and I'm going to enter a program to major in vocal jazz. Besides singing, the school I'm going to will also teach hella theory and jazz piano. I'm pretty punped. Problem is, it's a community college that has this music program (I plan to transfer after two years), and don't get me wrong, it's a great program, but the college is in a small town in Iowa. It'll be like training under a waterfall, but instead of training it's playing music and instead of a waterfall it's corn, some houses, the school, and a Wal-Mart.

Does computer game music count? Stemage (Metroid Metal) Rules! There's also alot of bands where I constantly listen to just one of their songs continuously, but they don't really count.

I play the guitar reasonably well, both electric and acoustic, but I prefer acoustic. People think I can play keyboard, but believe me I can't.

I don't play an instrument, I can't even read notes. Unfortunately no one ever forced me to learn an instrument and now I'm too lazy.


As for my favourite bands, I've never really made a list since for a lot of bands it's just me liking a certain album or a few songs. I can tell you it'd be full of japs though.

Japs is actually a racial slur, I believe. Just so you know.

I played cello in 5th and 6th grade, but stopped because I can't actually read music. And then in 10th grade I did A Cappella, but I have an ugly as fuck voice, at least normally, so I stopped. I still also can't read music.
