AWKWARD ZOMBIE

All I came here to say was that Mr. Game & Watch in Super Smash Bros. should now be represented by the dance instructor in Octopus Dance of Nintendo Land. I love the design on that guy.

I really like that game. Although I get so distracted when I see the mii's. I also love seeing people's drawings. I only saw a dick drawing once from some French guy. Stay classy everybody. Though I wonder how Nintendo blocks those things. I remember playing Mario Kart wii and whenever there were hackers they'd rid of them super quickly.

From what I've heard, they have a team of 100 moderators that check everything around the clock. They sort through all of the new messages by getting them dumped together, and they look for violators. If someone reports a message, they check it again under that criteria.

Last night I saw someone in Japan repeatedly drawing panty shots in the Nintendoland community. They got their messages taken down in 2 minutes. But daisies if they weren't spamming them.

So its like that Penny Arcade strip where they have a guy whos whole job is to moderate porn sites for Nintendo trademarks?

Except they're just moderating their own service, which is entirely in their domain.

It's still impressive that most stuff you don't even see, or in the space of clicking on it to report it or see who responded/"yeah"ed it, it's already been taken down.

I know, but its impressive that they manage even that. When people want other users to see their dicks, theyre REALLY persistant

After Christmas purchasing I'm going to start saving up for a Wii U

We got Bre a wii u for Christmas.

Anyone play zombiu yet? Game Informer gave it a bad grade, but The last issue of Nintendo power gave it a good grade.

Like, 3 for GI, and 8 for NP. I like the whole gimmick of coming back as a different survivor though.

Yahtzee seemed to like it. I'd like to give it a shot myself but my family has more to worry about than a video console right now...

A lot of the reviews seemed to indicate that the game feels kinda weird. It's a survival horror game that basically penalizes you for doing anything "cool", your default weapon is a cricket bat, and it takes 6 hits to kill a zombie, so it isn't very effective, and generally, you have to hide and pick off only the zombies you have to to survive. This is kinda frustrating to some people. Otherwise, the gameplay is good, but maybe a bit typical.

I haven't played it, but this is the information I have about it.

The cricket bat thing seems like about the only annoying that I've read about ZombiU. I wish there was a co op mode so me and the gf could play together NP said there's a tower defense game for two players, though

He liked it up until the halfway point, when the game didn't 'throw the curve ball' he was waiting for.

I dunno, I generally find his reviews pretty agreeable, but maybe thats because I share his sense of misanthropy of people who enjoy things that I dont enjoy. How I LOATHE them!

Well, it makes sense. It's the fallback item for when you run out of ammo, and if you can easily kill zombies with it, what's the point of having loud zombie-attracting guns if a bat does it just as good?
