And there is one good thing about Moffat's complete refusal to acknowledge anything that happened before Eleven, Martha Jones can never, ever come back.

How do you figure? I mean, I don't ant to see her come back either, but personal memory didn't get deleted.

Well, if Moffat continues his current trend of sticking his fingers in his ears and going "la la la la" about anything before his tenure as head writer, then nothing from the RTD era can come back, and that includes Martha Jones.

Why the hell would anyone NOT want Martha back.

I mean people have SOMEHOW convinced themselves that Rose was a good companion, by comparison Martha was awesome.

Martha wanted to ride the Doctor like a mechanical bull.

Episode 1 with Martha: Taken to the moon "wow its the moon whatever"
Episode 2 with Martha: Taken to the year 5,000,000,023 "you took me to the same place as rose?"
Episode 3 with Martha: Taken to meet Shakespeare, and fucking witches "what happens if we step on a butterfly"
Episode 5 with Martha: Taken to see the Statue of Liberty, a thing that has not changed between our time and the 30s "OH MY GOD HOLY SHIT WE'RE REALLY IN THE PAST WE ACTUALLY TIME TRAVELED"

So did Amy. And she was more forceful about it than Martha was.

I finally got around to starting series 3.

I like it. But we usually change doctors with the desktop.

Looks far too clean. How many of the previous iterations of the TARDIS were as well-kempt as that? I'm legitimately asking.

Ah, I see. Thank you for those pictures. It just seems weird to me because for what seemed like most of the new series, the TARDIS always had a "used car" feel to it, and I think that gave it a bit of character. I wonder what's going to come along to make 11 want to clean the place up? I'm also going to miss the rich gold lighting and interior; that always made the TARDIS seem a bit more inviting and home-like.
