Zelda Cracker Joke thread. I haven't quite figured out why certain information is retained in my brain while other stuff is not. I remembered that you mentioned summer sausage, and bought some a few months later. On the other hand, I can't memorize phone numbers.

In food related shenanigans, has anybody tried making treat squares out of Marshmallow Pebbles? I'd do it, but I can't remember the last time I cooked anything and I keep eating the cereal.

I bought a piece of steamed salmon and steamed it again for a few minutes to heat it up then put it on a sandwich with some cucumber.

Delightful.

A friend posted a picture of some Minestrone her mom made

I'm making grabby hands at the screen but nothing is happening

Edit: Hmm, I'm eating some Spanish rice, if I added some meat to this it could make a decent meal all by itself. I need to start buying tons of ground beef and chicken and stuff, and just cooking it for later use...

Yep! Works like a charm, but prepare for them to be really really sweet. Just make them like you would Rice Crispy Treats.

Also, cocoa pebbles covered in marshmallow is absolutely delicious.

So I have a bunch of grapes that I bought a week or two ago, they're a bit too squishy to eat by themselves now, so I was thinking of making raisins out of them.

Problem is, if I sun dry them it takes like a week for them to dry (from what I've seen on the internet) and using the oven takes about a day. Ah, if only I wasn't sharing that oven with my roommates I would take it over, but knowing how much they like to cook I probably won't be able to use it all day.

After having both today, I have to say that I like both thai and japanese curry, but thai is a bit better. The coconut milk makes the difference.

I'm making Caesar salad and puttanesca tonight.

The sheer amount of garlic and anchovy I'm burning through is ridiculous.

Purely out of curiosity, you should tell us how you make those.
