Spoilers for Gatecrash, the next magic set, are coming up/have started.

That new planeswalker looks really rad. Card advantage AND removal? In red and green? I'll take it. Seems like she'll go nicely with Mwonvuli Beastracker, since you can send the card to the top of your library for a guaranteed draw off of her +1.

was playing yu-gi-oh the other day on the gameboy. it was really fun but also incredibly frustrating, but i'd never spend so much cheddar on real cards.

Gatecrash spoilers haven't started. Somebody leaked a foil sheet containing five of the mythics from the set.

Aurelia is hilarious with cards like cloudshift. It plays out similarly to Hellkite Charger with Sword of Feast and Famine.

So I got a Chromatic Lantern for my Reading Rainbow deck.
Because of this, I was able to win using Door.

I was thinking that my landfall deck is too fast for Valakut, but not necessarily Eternity Vessel. Current list is as follows.
Brainstorm
Deprive x 2
Eternity Vessel
Evolving Wilds
Explorer's Scope x 4
Ghostly Flicker x 3
Ior Ruin Expedition x 4
Izzet Boilerworks x 2
Living Tsunami x 2
Plated Geopede x 3
Scalding Tarn
Zektar Shrine Expedition x 2

I tend to build the landbase based on the colors and dual lands that I have already. I suppose I could go with Walking Atlas for the fodder and one-drop mana accel.
Any thoughts?

If you can manage it. There are plenty of good card games that isn't magic or yugioh.

I've bought a couple of these...
Netrunner is still new, the first pack just came out for it Friday.
and Lord of the Rings isn't competitive but is insanely fun cooperative.

Also unpopular card games you find for really cheap in clearance.

Pokemon is a good card game that everyone should get into.

Unfortunately, expensive cards abound.

No, right now more like all of the fucking EX's.

And the full arts.

And the shinies.

It's pretty distressing to see someone buy a deck full of the expensive versions of the cards that they could get for about 10 times cheaper. And a bit idiotic.

Though I guess some people need something to spend that scaling practice cheddar on.
