Unlike the previous two, Super Mario Galaxy... doesn't really need a walkthrough. For pretty much all of it, its fairly clear what you're meant to do.
Which is very nice when compared to SM64 or SMS! Gods, there were so many secret stars in them! And don't forget the 100 Coins parts, bah!

Haha, I'm like that too. I always go get the biggoron's sword, Epona, and the longshot before I do the forest temple in OoT as well. (Yes, you can get the longshot before you ever set foot in the forest temple. You just can't actually beat the water temple first because of one single instance where you need the bow for an eye switch.)

If I get stuck and reach my peak of frustration, I turn to walkthroughs to tell me what to do. If I use cheats, I usually use stupid ones, like big-head mode, or to make the character wear a rainbow outfit.

Sometimes, if I was playing a game with friends, we'd all turn god-mode cheats on and try to see if there was any way to make the other die.

I use walkthroughs when I'm stuck somewhere, or when I'm trying to unlock a certain aspect of the game.

I don't like to use cheats generally, because I'm too worried about permanently screwing up the game.

Super Mario World is my all-time favorite Mario game, and I've played it so much that FAQ's have been rendered useless. Super Mario Sunshine, on the other hand....
Pinball level took me hours to find. After that, I basicly said screw it and looked up everything.
Then the lilypad island shine made me snap my disc in half. I don't handle anger well.

Also (lol doublepost) Animal Crossing is a hoot and a holler when played with Action Replay. Growing to the size of a tree then shaking it never gets old...

Had to use a walkthrough for Pikmin once.

I cheat at TF2 all the time. I use the airblast to extinguish burning players.

I got all 120 stars in SuperMario 64, and yes, the 100 coins part was the worst part -.-

I got 116-ish stars in SuperMario Sunshine. Could never be arsed to finished it. I might later but I've heard that the "reward" is disappointing.

I got all 120 stars with Mario in Galaxy too,
and I'm working on Luigi.
I don't know if Galaxy was easier because it's just easier or because I'm several years older and now possess common sense.

Its genuinely easier. I only got about 90 stars in SM64 and SMS, when I got them both for the Wii, but got through SMG with both Mario and Luigi no problem!

I think this is really fun. I grew up with bigger siblings pushing me out of the way and so I watched a lot. Now I love watching people play games, as long as they're pretty good. Like watching someone trying to basically snipe zombies with a low power shotgun? Ugh, use common sense.

I know some people that don't mind watching only as well, one of them being my best friend (thank god!).

I, on the other hand, am way too impatient for stuff like that. At one point I'll always say something among the lines of "No, you have to... Sheesh, just hand me the controller, I'll do it for you!"

Common sense would tell you that a weapon mostly used for long-range hunting would be good for, say, long-range zombie hunting too. Games always treat shotguns as sawn-off ones with bruised'n'bashed nozzles though, which I never liked!

Same goes for flamethrowers. As a weapon originally used in naval warfare...

I get lost. A lot.

Same here. :/

I abused the power of the walkthrough to get Biggoron's Knife in The Ocarina of Time.
