Ok, so I am a mega ultra super lightweight, and I really hate sour flavor and really strong drinks. I do like milkier stuff like pumpkin spice and Irish cream though. What might you suggest?

Baileys is nice and smooth, goes down a treat. If you like aniseedy stuff you might try sambuca too, sits pretty well.

Good brut champagne is a safe bet, baileys is milky sweet but has a slightly stronger alcoholic taste. Both will probably get you pretty drunk if you're a light-weight though, so don't drink more than a glass or two at first. You could try some fruit beer as well, but I don't know what American ones are good and they might be a little sour. If you don't mind a little bitter, dark coloured beers could be something to try, but again I don't know what American ones are good.

Ahhh, okay! I'm spending a bit of time with relatives in Texas, and my grandpa has like a bazillion bottles of different drinks, so I'm going to have to check if he has those.

Ahhh yes, the upside to borderline parental alcoholism

Jack Daniels Honey Liqueur is really good. It's just as strong as normal JDs, but it's a lot smoother and doesn't burn as hard. Tastes super nice too

Contrary to popular belief, alcohol does not prevent you from using spellcheck.

Parents are making up a little sampler of different alcohols for my brother to try while he's on leave, since his 21st is January of next year. I said I'd try some Bailleys since I heard it was like chocolate.

If I taste the alcohol though this is going to be the worst chocolate ever.

It tastes more like coffee, but as far as liquor goes there's less of that distinctive alcohol taste than in other drinks.

That's what I'm hoping. I'd like at least something I can drink with company that's not Coke or Shirley Temples.

I will drink my adult chocolate milk and not give a fuck. I mean hell when I order Shirley Temples I ensure they add more cherries and syrup to it because seriously that's way better than any other beverage I've had.

My cousin made a Christmas ale that was quite good.
