Go for Pokemon then. Where you get such brilliantly thought out names as "Pewter City", "Sandshrew", and "Seel".

Guess what Pokemon Seel was based on!

Well that's a bit... off. Mainly because Pure servers are meant to completely prevent cheating...

But yes, servers that don't say they're Pure in the description are a bugger!

I hate how in Oblivion they make you choose a class before you've really tried everything so you end up picking a class you THINK sounds cool at the time and then end up not ever using half of your major skills.

I hope TES V uses another engine that isn't Gamebryo.

A hippo!

Joke aside, I hate it in strategy games when you JUST start a game against the computer and they have EVERYTHING FOREVER somehow and they attack you when you only started making your first strike force.

That and in warcraft 3 when I have the settings "random race" and "random hero" on and I always get either the night elves general, the undead with the lich, the humans in general, or if I get lucky I get the orcs... with the freaking useles against ranged and air units blade master! HATE!

Also there is this odd thing that happens to me when every enemy teams up against me AT THE SAME TIME. The thing is that I die when this happens, then they team up (even though they are enemies AND the computer) then rape my entire base to nothingness.

Depressing stuff.

I mean, I can handle sad stuff (i.e. MGS) but..

Ok, I brought The Sims 3 the other day. It was all going good; I made my sim based on myself and got a job as a policeman. I was just messing about until I realized that I had 11 game days until I was gonna be 'elderly'. I had some crazy-booty mid-life crisis at this point. I never reached the top of my job line, I didn't write a book like I wanted, and I ended up marrying some pickpocket woman who sounded like a man, just so I didn't die alone. All the while this was a sim that looked like me, had my name and all my personality traits..

I haven't played it since

Sharky...

Oh god...

That must SERIOUSLY suck!

Of course, that's why I prefer to keep my personal User Avatar character immortal.

I hate games that consist of "move around and spam a button to win". There's no challenge in that and it gets really monotonous rather quickly.

Time limits, glitchy controls, bad camera angles...they ruin the game.

Doors in Metroid.

Katie wasn't kidding, these things are full of raging HATE against people who want to get through them.

They have uncanny timing in Prime, I find. They work fine normally, but should I be trying to escape from a room (running away, don't have lava resistence yet, generally sucking at the game, etc.) they take their sweeeeet time.

Also, ESCORT MISSIONS. No one has ever liked them. For every game designer that has feels the need to implement one, please kill yourself.

Oh yeah, and fucked up save methods.

Like in Dementium: The Ward. The game is divided into many short chapters, and you save automatically at the beginning of each new chapter. If you turn off the game, you always restart at the last chapter you were on. This may not seem like such a big deal, but considering the flying head enemies (which I call "Screaming Meemee's) in Chapter 3...yeah, it gets very frustrating when you have to restart at the very beginning of Chapter 3 only to get PWNed yet again by the Screaming Meemee's. Were it not for my Action Replay and the fact that I got to download Dementium cheats onto it (Godmode, anyone?) I would have just stopped playing altogether.

...but the Screaming Meemee's still scare the piss out of me.

I've never find them do that on special occasions. Most of the time it was in very unspectacular situations, where I'd wonder what the fuck and WHY it was doing that to me. (I seriously started to think I simply suck at opening doors until I found out I'm not the only one having that problem)

Fake difficulty. Make the game more realistic by having an enemy's armor reduce damage like it's supposed to, fine. Make my enemies smarter and more cunning, fine. But do not fuck with the accuracy or range of my weapon or make my allies, whom I am forced to depend on by your own gameplay mechanics, dumb as a fucking brick. I'm looking at you, Star Wars Battlefront 2 on 'Elite' difficulty.
