I thought the advice was pretty funny, since it was pretty much what Katie was asking for in that comic, and she sorta achieved that by being the biggest jerk in the world (or by kicking a puppy).

I would say something like "Page Get!" right now, but I've decided not to... Wait, crap!

Here's a vital question:

Link looks to his left side and sees the boar. He kicks the orc guy off it and hops on the boar.

A second later, again on his left, is Epona and the orc.

When he jumped off Epona, she probably started slowing to a stop without her Master. Which she actually does if you jump off her while riding in the Game.

That's probably how that slow-booty bokoblin with its tiny legs was able to catch up to her and mount her.

THEN, now on the horse, the 'blin had her catch up to Link, and, either due to one or both of them turning through the course of riding, ended up on the opposite side.
