got back from the midnight launch a little while ago and played a few matches with friends.
It's different.
not bad but every game has had the same general feel to it until now, gonna take a bit of getting used to.

From this video that shows off a pretty immature easter egg, it looks like Halo 4's gameplay is not that distinguishable from the other games. Does the game just feel different when you control it, like things feel more solid or more smooth?

Around 7-8 hours on normal, roughly.

Also, for 10 weeks after launch, Spartan Ops will get five extra levels and a cinematic for free, so 50 levels in all. (first week is already on disc)

I'm not sure. I'm installing the multiplayer content to my Xbox right now.

As far as campaign's story goes, you really need to read some of the books to understand the main villains motivation.

Also, the facial animation for the humans is awesome. They used the same tech as LA Noire. I'm going to play some online stuff right now and take a break from the campaign.
