You guys should watch Penn & Teller: Bullshit!

They basically debunk popular hoax theories like talking to the dead and "alternative medicine" like chiropractic and reflexology. I've only seen the first two episodes but it's a great series so far. And it's Penn & Teller.

basically this famous hypnotist (derren brown) takes an ordinary member of the public and tries to convince him that the world is ending (so like all his family is taken away from him, fake newsreels are cast etc) to see how the average person would act in that situation

it's pretty terrifying and i'm kind of surprised that they're allowed to show it but it should be fascinating

I couldn't stop laughing at the last 30 Rock episode. They focused the end-show jokes on North Florida. My people. And they hit the fucking nail on the head.
