Jesus christ it's just a song in a trailer, that a fan made. If it really even matters, Forward Unto Dawn should more than make up for that.

The people who are marketing the game and the people who are playing the game are two separate entities. I don't think 343 has any say in the actual advertising. And if you feel so bad about a bunch of children playing it, then you can always mute them.

Also Malum, the reason that the Chief sounds different is because he is being voiced by the guy who is in the suit, Daniel Cudmore. I guess it would actually make sense for him to sound different story-wise as well because this takes place 20-30 years ago.

That was just one thing.

And I didn't claim their marketing was THE reason I'm not interested enough in this game to buy it day one. I just haven't been excited for it in general. As opposed to something like Halo 3 which I was so excited for I got my dad to buy me a 360 just to play it.

I almost never get a game on the day of launch, and this won't be an exception. I'll get it for Christmas.

I think the only games I got on launch were Brawl and Borderlands 2.

I'd love to join, but my Live subscription ran out a month ago.

I might have a 2-day pass lying around...

It could have to do with having to cache some information?

No idea why that'd be a specific thing to multiplayer, but it's at least a thing you'd need a hard drive for.

Yeah, caching data and such makes sense.

What game type are you guys going to play first in multiplayer? I wanna give Grifball a shot.

I am the least lucky with Halo: Reach, one of my favorite games in the series, but shit luck.

First I buy it from gamestop used, my cousin breaks it, get it replaced (for free aww yis)

... the dog runs over my xbox, destroying the disk.

I didn't want to se what would happen if I tried again

So I decided to kill some time and watch Forward Unto Dawn.
It's actually pretty amazing! The Covenant are actually scary in it, too
