Bitch I got the ward shield perk. Pardon me while I bash the Dragon Priest in the face with it a couple times.

I find Dragon Priests go down quick with a few applications of an improved Daedric greatsword.

Wards were too much of a pain in the booty to use regularly, even on my primarily magic character.

Shield perk. Every time I raise my shield I automatically block 50% of all elemental damage. Couple it with Spellbreaker and I automatically generate a 50 pt. ward in addition to that. Though I favor Auriel's shield because of the shockwave.

I've noticed a sneak arrow to the head usually ends everything pretty quick.

That's what I'm sayen!

I find Impact solves everything.

With me the issue is I don't have enough to time hit the priest before it summons something.
Sometimes the game glitches, or I catch them in some animation of power and strength and they don't get stunned with impact.

Use Banish Daedra then, or whatever the highest level version of that is.

If we're still talking about Dragon Priests, then I doubt it. They're level 50 and insanely powerful, while the strongest dual-cast Expel Daedra spell can only banish conjured atronachs. I've never tried so I can't be sure.

I was talking about using it on the summons obviously.

Well their summons are really strong too. If I leveled up conjuration I could get the banish perk.

I would only do that if you regularly use conjured weapons. Else just buy a banish spell somewhere.

So apparently Scroll of Blizzard damages me too in addition to the enemy? Why?

In other news, starting again with a stealth mage. Getting to 50 in Illusion for silent casting then Destruction and something else. Maybe Conjuration for when shit gets heavy.
