I always felt like gold was too easy to come by in Elder Scrolls games in general, and there's really not enough incentive to spend that much of it.

Yeah, I usually end up training 5 times per level to get rid of it.

In Oblivion I spend it all on recharging my enchanted weapons, but it barely makes a dent most of the time, unless its really early in the game.

I got a Skyforge Steel Sword. Leveled it to Legendary. Enchanted it with Ice and Paralyze.

Why are all helmet enchantments terrible.

Because arbitrary Enchantment rules. Night Eye is a good one to put on, if it's available. I'm not sure if it is or not since I always did Khajit since I like being able to see where the fuck I'm going.

I was hoping I could enchant it with some sort of resistance, but nope. It's pretty much all fortifying magic skills, archery, or lockpicking, none of which are much use to me. I might get the archery enchantment just because.

If you find water breathing, that makes a decent as hell helmet enchantment.

Fortify Destruction+Restoration on everything is the way to roll.

Dragonscale Armor go:

Spades Slick - Head
Hearts Boxcars - Chest
Diamonds Droog - Hands
Clubs Deuces - Feet

Just had a pretty serious dumbass moment. I'm on the quest that ends up getting me thrown into Cidhna Mine with the Forsworn leader and he told me to kill some guy. I whip out my shiv and start going to town on this dude, but it's taking forever because the stupid half-knife does about one point of damage every ten minutes. I must have whacked him about thirty times before I remembered I CAN BREATHE FIRE.
