Once upon a time, I started taking Prozac, then I ran out of insurance and stopped taking Prozac. Fun times.

NOW STORY TIME

I was once in a therapy group with the craziest fucking weeaboo ever. Her dead girlfriend lived in her head, she was for serious in love with Garaa, faked an eating disorder, and once bit a chunk out of her mom, supposedly.

I took Med-x then I died.

I'm currently on Abilify (15mg), Solian (200mg) and Trittico (150mg). Whoever manages to guess my mental disorder wins a delicious bowl of nothingness. I'll share my experiences with it and my meds in a bit, right now I'm too busy to type it out.

All three are for depression, so... depression, and maybe BPD?

Abilify and Solian are antipsychotics, not antidepressants. I also gotta take Xanor (0,5mg) - a benzo - when I'm really miserable.

Bipolar?

It's schizoaffective disorder, the depressive kind. Basically it's psychosis in conjunction with an affective disorder, which can be either bipolar or just depressive. Got diagnosed with it some two months ago, I've been pretty stable with my current medication so far.

The side-effects of the Solian were pretty horrible at first though, it more or less killed me inside - totally leveled my emotions, I couldn't feel any strong emotions for like two weeks. On the one hand it was a horrid sensation, on the other hand it helped me focus on studying again (I was about to graduate when I got diagnosed with it) thanks to my emotional calm and the clarity of though brought about by the antipsychotics. Abilify treated me better, it made me jittery once in a while but that's stopped.

I had a social worker with me for a bit who came to my house like every thursday and took me out to eat and even to the arcade a few times. Was actually fun, I was a pretty depressed kid so I sorta needed it.

Well, my mom REALLY wants to take me to a therapist. I don't want to go, not necessarily because I'm not depressed, but because I don't think it would help and it would just be a waste of my time.

There's a good chance it's just hormones, anyway.

Nothing's really wrong with me, I don't think. I've been on anti-depressants on two different occassions, but it seems as though everyone has taken them at least once so I don't think that's anything of note. Yet I posted it anyways. Auuuuuggggg. I see flashes of light and bug-related things sometimes, when there is in fact no light or bugs there when the vision/image goes away. That's a little worrying but my doctor didn't reccommend a therapist and I'll use that as my excuse for not going.
