Today's week in review:
Rather than letting Ichigo finish off Ulquiorra so he doesn't get back up and oh I don't know slash part of him off or something (he did, but just a horn), Uryu decides that out of all the Arrancar he's killed up to this point, THIS GUY, known sociopath, shouldn't be killed. And Uryu is supposed to be the smart one who doesn't care about morality in his fights!
You know, they've SEEN Kiku get his head cut off before, you'd think they'd be a little less worried that he flew off on a runaway train.
Why were part of Lyuze's dreams in Detroit? Who was that black guy and what was he doing there? What was with all the still monochrome photos of a woman? Why was something shattering every 10 seconds? Psycho dreams that's why!
I was under the impression Renton was going to whoop the kids at some point. Imagine my disappointment.

Except Uryu knew Ichigo wasn't the type to kill a defeated enemy in cold blood And was talking him down from doing something he would regret. Unfortunately, he didn't realize it was Hollow Ichigo in control, who really doesn't give a fuck and is driven more by instinct than anything.

Though yeah, it is a bit hypocritical seeing as Uryu has no qualms as a Quincy in destroying the souls of Hollows and preventing them from going to Soul Society (though he actually hasn't killed any arrancar personally, IIRC). At least the souls in the Arrancars that the soul reapers killed should, ideally (unless Tite flopped on the world building again), go back to Soul Society/Hell.

Oh, another Bleach thing I just remembered I realized earlier but then forgot about while watching the other shows. Ichigo goes full Hollow, gets long hair. Yusuke goes full demon, gets long hair. Ichigo gets soul reaper powers form Kisuke by nearly dying. Yusuke got spirit detective powers from dying/nearly dying.
I... finally realized it...

Long hair seems to be a general thing in Shonen series though. Aizen gets a mullet, Goku has SS3, Even Sonic kinda gets longer quills in Super Sonic mode.

It's just a part of the "badass" shonen powerup thing.

I really hope that Renton stops being so beta. It is getting intensely annoying having to hear Renton pine over Eureka while there are GIANT ROBOTS ON HOVERBOARDS out there. And I honestly do forget if it gets any better.

That seems odd. Why would they air two cancelled shows? Genndy is over at Sony right now, so there's is no chance for the resurrection of Sym-Bionic Titan, and as far as I have seen, Thundercats is cancelled as well. I know that it may not be that they're seeking a revival of those shows, but it would just be depressing to watch Sym-Binic and Thundercats knowing that we'll never get anything new.

I honestly think that getting too many old shows would be bad. It's one thing to have a good set of old shows, but I'm more interested in seeing what news anime or even original Western shows they can get/create.
