okay so I'm playing path of radiance and there's this level 1 npc bow knight named astrid that you meet around chapter 13

she keeps throwing herself into danger against level 12 enemies and to absolutely no one's surprise, dying miserably. she's not able to be carries by any of my units, nor can she be disuaded from her reckless kamikaze charge into melee units to a painful, agonizing death

I'm getting really, really tired of her idiotic ai and I need to know if letting her die will stop me from gaining the aid of any npcs in the future.

Astrid is recruitable if you talk to her with Ike, I think. Then you can make her stay out of danger. Also, you can talk to Gatrie with her and get him to rejoin you.

Astrid is fairly strong once she gains some levels, and she gains levels fairly quickly.

Her ability makes her gain twice as much exp. I love using her.

aaaahahahahaha rolf brcame a sniper and I gave him the gamble ability

now he has a 100% chance to crit all the time

If you want to win all the games...use Nephenee and give her Vantage in addition to her Wrath. You can stick her in a huge group of enemies and she will destrolish them all. I love her.

Also, I should consider playing Radiant Dawn again. I've tried playing it twice before but it gets so fucking hard and the characters are so unbalanced oh God.
Sure it would be easy to just play as Sothe and the hilariously OP'd Laguz, but wheres the fun in that?

I stopped playing Radiant Dawn a couple months ago because I got stuck in the mission where it's night and there's three barricades around you and have to keep people from entering a tent
