I'm glad I never had braces, they seem like such a pain.

I'm pretty fussy about apples. I like them sweet and crisp. Tried a new species today called 'Eve', wasn't too impressed. It was kinda bland and had a powdery texture.
Nope. Gimme Fuji or Golden Delicious.

Does anyone else dislike ice? I mean, it's better than drinking a warm drink, but if you have a refrigerator or if your drink is already cold, I don't see the point. Unless you chug your drink down within a minute, the ice melts and waters the drink down. And i'm pretty sure everyone can agree a watered down drink of any sort is bad.

Also, if you have a lot of ice, it floats at the top and gets in the way, touching your nose and making you have to drink between the ice cubes.

It keeps the drink cooler for longer. And you're not gonna taste the watering down unless you drink really slowly. Beer and wine should never have ice in 'em though.

With both pasta and rice it's ridiculously easy to make something cheap, tasty and nourishing.

Assuming the drink was cool to begin with, it'll stay cool unless you drink really slowly. Unless its 100 degrees in your house, it's gonna take a good hour to get warm.

I tend to keep my drinks in the freezer whenever possible anyway

I dislike ice because fast food places like to fill the cup with ice so there's almost no soda and it melts into the drink to dilute the flavor.

Only time I like it is with Coke in a glass. And even then only a few cubes to achieve the right flavor.

This too. Restaurants like to fill the cup up with 90% ice so that two sips takes away half the drink. It dumbs down the quality and quantity of the actual drink.

Dumbs down isn't really the right word there but I get what you're saying. I actually like the watered down, ice-filled coke they give you at MacDo and such, dunno guess it's something different and less taste-bud destroying sweet.

Anyone know a good recipe/food blog for lazy people like myself who are trying to get into cooking easy meals? I'm the kind of person who either eats out or eats canned soup or frozen meals every day. There aren't many things I know how to actually make just because I don't have much experience and don't always have the time to try different things, but I'm starting to miss "real food".

I don't really have anything easy book marked, but pasta dishes are usually fairy simple.

Or stir fries. Maybe try out some marinade sauces as they usually have recipes on the back of the bottle.
