Man, no one seems to be on today. I was looking for people to help me kill the hydra (or maybe kill it for me) and no one was there. And now I'm not finding anyone at the beginning of Sen's Fortress :/

stand in front of lake
have shield up
heads go forward for melee attack
kill one head
now you have a safespot
shoot hydra with bow/crossbow/magic/throwing knives
now it is dead

Start rolling like crazy. It stops using magic when you're a bit into the water.

Just watch out for the sudden drop near its body.

Approaching the hydra is the hardest part. Once the golems are dealt with in any way and you're at melee range with the Hydra, it turns into a super easy waiting game. It helps if you have the Rusted Iron Ring from the Undead Asylum second visit and stare at the ground the whole time so you don't end up falling off an underwater cliff.

Just stay in the water until you hear the roar, then run towards the land and roll out of the way and hack away.

I just wish people would stop invading me so I can finally get this daisies Ornstein and Smough fight over with. This is so aggravating!!!!!! I have absolutely 0 humanity now and no way to advance in the game.

Kill them solo. Make use of the invincibility frames in dodgerolls.

Right, I can see why that would be easier. When trying to solo it, I went after Smough and got my booty handed to me.

Lightning Tubbablubba is the harder of the two fights though.

I can do that fight, I've done it as a phantom. But you get that by killing Smough, not Ornstein.

I found something interesting. If you're in a swampy area like Blighttown, the Halberd's Dash + R1 overhead swing hits instantly, you don't raise it up.
Might be fun to use in Blighttown invasions.

actually ornstein can be easier depending on your play style. you can range his attacks by getting really close and his butt smash is actually smaller than smoughs

you can also cheese him with arrows by sitting behind a column way away from him so he just throws lightning constantly.
