You see the three silhouetted figures at the bottom? It's a Mystery Science Theater reference. If you're not familiar, it's an old series that used to watch movies that were generally considered to be TERRIBLE, then pretty much parody/talk over/ridicule the movies the whole way through. It featured one human and two robots on a space station.

Am I the only one who was bothered by Himi just getting shoved into the party? I mean, everyone else actually had a backstory. Himi woke up out of a freakin' coma and decided to go on an adventure.

She's the kid of previous NPCs so she got grandfathered in. Plus she woke up with a prosthetic third eye, probably wanted to get that checked out along the way.

Gotta have that second Earth Adept.

Yeah, that bothered me. Mostly because every other party member in the entire series had backstory. Especially each of the PC's in DD. They all had some kind of mini-arc around getting each one. Then once you get Eoleo, it's like "we need a Earth Adept... fuck it, random girl gets a head tattoo from the macguffin ball."

She didn't even really get any development besides being another reactionary member of your party. She had less development that Matthew.

I have not played Dark Dawn, but they really should have used Takeru instead.
After Gaia Rock, the girl you save, when mind-read, says if she has a son she will name him Takeru and he will help Felix's descendents.

Maybe next time. First game is Isaac's descendants and the second gets to be Felix's!

Golden Sun: Blue Moon

[In an interview with Nintendo Gamer in June 2012, series producer Hiroyuki Takahashi spoke about the possibility of a fourth Golden Sun game; "A big reason for us making RPGs comes from the requests from all the people who have enjoyed our RPGs in the past. Perhaps if there are enough Nintendo users asking for another game in the Golden Sun series, then this will naturally lead to the development of such a game."]

Frankly, after the FLOP that was Dark Dawn, I am seriously doubting they'll ever get a chance to do a fourth game. Unless maybe enough people have pointed out how the fucked up, and they got the message.

Man, I actually liked Dark Dawn more than TLA.

Mostly because I got to Air's Rock and couldn't figure shit out.

The exact moment Eoleo joined, Tyrell was sent to backup team duty forever.

Fucking yes. Eoleo was fucking awesome and I couldn't give much of a shit ever about Tyrell.

I like Dark Dawn, but nothing that was hyped about it happened. Few people gave a shit about the "children of Vale" and the psynergy vortexes were minor plot points at the beginning until the stinger ending.

And TLA kinda lost me because while it was neat to play the game from Felix's perspective, it was just weird to not have Issac in charge once they all met up.

Don't worry if your favorite character didn't find a love interest in Dark Dawn. We've probably got about eight more characters coming to provide breeding material for the next generation. That game will include a total of 32 adepts, all of them related to each other and many of them part animal.

Om, that is a horrible, horrible thing you just said there... I fear for any potential future that Camelot holds with this franchise.

So basically, a Fire Emblem game in Weyard?
