I used to be really into tea, but then my roommates kept making fun of me so I just stopped.

However, I never had a proper tea kettle or anything, so I just used the coffee maker. Works pretty much just the same way and is still pretty wonderful.

I mean it wasn't entirely due to the mocking, and other things (like not having time for the whole shebang every morning)...

But mainly they made fun of how pretentious and like the whole process and the mixing and like TEA SUBCULTURE and all this stuff I really didn't know or care about. and also that it was gay
