Does anybody else, when they shower, end up always scratching their arms/chest so much to get the dead skin off that their skin had red lines in it all day? I can never not scratch really hard when I see a little bit come off...

I dunno, if I ever skip a day of showering it gets pretty bad.

Some parts of my skin have a similar issue. Try using a rag to stop yourself from overdoing it. You're never going to run out of dead skin using your fingernails. Mostly cuz you'll keep killing it.

I used to get that a lot when I was younger, probably because I avoided bathing where possible like any smelly kid. Used to end up with loads of red streaks across my body and skin under my fingernails, yuck.

I do scratch myself like mad after showers, but it's because I itch all over the place, not because of dead skin. Unless the itching is because of dead skin.

I have determined that if I don't eat at least some fiber every day at breakfast, I might as well count on being sick at some point
