He did. He also saw many other things...

I feel sorry for the kid, but something was wrong with him in the first place.

So who else smells a lawsuit?

Transformers of course. It was completely irresponsible for them to never have a "don't do this at home" warning. /sarcasm

People sue over the stupidest things. That's why there are so many lawyers.

Only in America.
Other countries usually have people who realize they were being irresponsible rather than force the blame on something else.

Like the McDonald's coffee lady. She spilled hot coffee on her lap and blamed McDonalds for it. Her reasoning was that it didn't say on the cup that the coffee was hot. Of course, no one expects to buy coffee at any shop and expect it to not be hot (except if it's an ice latte).
She burned herself then laid the blame on McDonalds. And that's how people are in this country.

In someplace like China the parents would not sue Transformers. They know that in a way it is also their fault for not supervising and informing their child enough.

Actually, that coffee really was far too hot. I always thought she was a moron too, but recently I found out that the coffee truly was far above the acceptable temperature for coffee. We're talking, like, 200 degrees hot. So even if it wasn't in her lap and she tried to drink it, she would have received third or even second degree burns in her mouth.

Compressed methane gas that is then lighted with a match held between somebody's buttcheeks.

The methane is from everybody's farts.

You're partly right, but mostly wrong. While yes, the McDonalds drive-thru coffee was served at 180-190 degrees Farenheit (about 85 degrees Celsius), it wasn't a singular incident; that really is how hot they make their coffee, and they still do! It wasn't that the coffee was too hot to be humane, or too hot to be drinkable, it was that it didn't come with sufficient warning that prolonged contact with skin WOULD cause third degree burns! It'd be the same as a container of a highly flammable substance not having the standard fire symbol on it.

tl,dr: coffee is not expected to cause third degree burns near-instantly. The woman had a strong case after all. The media likes portraying people as idiots.

I'm not seeing a flaw in the boy's logic. I think we need to have science come in and see why he's not getting the results he's shooting for, namely to shoot beams from his hands and punch holes through cars.

That's what you get for mini-modding. Also, you misspelled "oops."
