As always, will be here for any and all things related to Biology. If it's Chemistry...don't...I'll try.

History: Get that shit out of my face!

I suppose this belongs in this topic.

For the common application:
Quote:
Describe a character in fiction, a historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence.
Am I interpreting this wrong when I assume that I can write about a creative work? It seems like it could be an awkwardly phrased prompt for a character from a creative work, and I don't want to take that risk.
If anyone's wondering, I'm planning on writing about how sonic Adventure got me into video games, and thus programming and art, which I'm hoping to study in college.

Looks like a piece of creative work, not character from.

Seems to me like your in the clear according to their sentence structure, but I would suggest asking your teacher if at all possible. I know phrasing like this has got me before.

I'd say they're asking for "character from", run it by your teacher so you're sure you're in the clear.

A person from a creative work would fall under character in fiction though. That's why I'm pretty sure it means the work itself.

Oh, now that I look at it again, science doesn't really have characters so I think I'll be in the clear.

ninja'd/edit: yeah D-vid that makes sense, I'll just go for it.

My classes this year:
RMCC(Rich Mountain Comunity College) Freshman Comp 1
RMCC American Government/then teachers aid
Driver Education/then RMCC College Algebra
PHYSICS
Anatomy and Physiology
German II (ohmanpleasehelp)
Office management (May change to aid next semester

I can still try helping people with chemistry, ESPECIALLY with chemical equasions, i.e. HCl+Na(OH)-->H2O+NaCl

I'm good for Anatomy/Physiology, PHYSICS, and German, though I'm guessing there are those better qualified to help you on that last one. Depending on what PHYSICS it is I may have to say the same thing, though with an A and a B+ in the last (only) two college level PHYSICS classes I'm good for it. I'd just have to look up some equations, which I'm guessing you'll be collecting anyway along the next couple months. If there's one thing you can be sure about PHYSICS class, it's that your little notebook of equations is going to be your bestest friend in the whole universe.

Hey could anyone help me with scientific notation? The problem is:

25 mm to cm

I have to convert and express in scientific notation. I know that 25mm = 2.5 cm, but I don't know how to put it in scientific notation.
