so tired of this long distance bullshit with my fiance

we can never have balance between us time, family time and everyone else time. it's one or the other, every time we're together. and that's only for a few hours a week, then saturday. and every time we are together we rarely get to just lie around and do nothing - we always have 29485673498659 things to get done because he simply lives too fucking far away to have time to do ANYTHING together and not have to rush it

where is my time machine so i can jump forward a few months so i can be with him and not have to deal with this anymore?

My mother is spending some time with a friend today, while this friend's mother is on her deathbed. She is sending me texts telling me about this woman's deteriorating condition, telling me it "won't be long."

I don't mean to be insensitive, but I can do without a play-by-play of this lady's death.

A friend told me that though he enjoys my company, it's not that special because I'm nice to everyone even when they are assholes to me. Though he said it humorously, I feel he made two points about how I always have been. One, I'm more forgettable because I don't conflict with anyone and two, I've been the punching bag for jokes as far back as I remember, and I'm too afraid of being rude to confront people who were unkind to me.

I don't think my friend meant to insult me, but it hurt.

Been thinking about my future and it's pretty darn depressing that I will most likely not have any bright future ahead.

I'm definitely not good for any school judging from past experiences and there ain't any jobs in the vicinity which I could be in and support myself with. I'm not smart, I'm not strong and I just feel useless most of the time.

Been depressed over the weekend from thinking about this and I don't have any solutions at all (without possibly overreaching and making things worse).

Doesn't help that I am surrounded by people whom are better than me, it keeps reminding me of how inferior I am compared to them.

Yeah, I guess I can make myself strong but I don't see much use for it here in terms of living if I'm in a bad state with other more important things.
I'm also not just talking about physical strength. I'd say I'm weak when it comes to mental / emotional strength.

The only thing I'd truly want to improve is my mind but I think that would be quite the challenge, especially when I first need to improve everything needed to improve my mind (such as focus).

I guess the shittiest part is that I don't even know where and how to start on improving the mind. If I find the start, I should be able to fix this problem with enough determination.

I've just remembered that I was mistaken about the last time I'd seen my kind-of-girlfriend before we broke up.

It wasn't a monday spent cuddling on a couch. It was two days after, when my sister forced me to stop by and pick up the wii remote I'd forgotten.
I wish I'd known that was going to be my last chance to hug her.
