It's not that hard.
You'll end up having two favourites that you play locally with friends and stuff.

It's usually the more popular ones like Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Pokemon TCG is starting to make a bit of a comeback I see.

I wasnt even aware it had an animes till I got home. Im just keen on the no nonsense mechanics that seems to borrow ALOT of good aspects from other games Ive played.

Also you'll end up spending twice as much cheddar. Its not as easy as "Oh you'll be able to play two."

I guess so.

I buy cards maybe once or twice a year, so I have no clue how hardcore collectors do it.

So I'm thinking of picking up Magic 2013 on Steam since I can't shell out for a real deck.

Worth it?

It's not a bad way to get into magic if you can't afford to real thing but if you'd rather have full customization for decks(with a much less user friendly interface mind you) I'd just download cockatrice, since it's free.

And personally I'd say don't bother with cockatrice it's terrible. Lackey has a more friendly interface, and is just all around easier to use. You may need help at the start, but once you've got the basics down, it's simplistic.

Does anybody know if that Mewtwo promo pack is still available?

Also, any packs/starter decks that have some decent Psychic-Types (preferably of the ghost variety)?

Depends on the store. Some cycle through stuff quickly, some have them for years. They're still available online though if need be.

And as for decks, the Cofagrigus deck has some ghosts, and Woobat. They're more stall Pokemon than anything (though Cofagrigus is kinda good). Other than that, Noble Victories has a decent number of ghosts, the best being Chandelure.
