how about a review of a popular anime like panty and stocking

The idea is more that I show off new stuff that is mostly unknown, when I do completed series I will still probably do obscure titles. There's not much good in writing about how rad something like PSG or Baccano is, because everybody has already seen them.

On the subject of puns and japanese humor, they've both always made a lot of sense to me? But then again, I grew up watching kung fu flicks in mandarin and also find chinese humor and puns really funny for reasons that are hard to explain to someone that doesn't get already get it, especially because their humor is usually cultural or situational.

Really though, any pun doesn't make a ton of sense in another language. Especially if it's something like this:



To someone viewing japanese subtitles or having it dubbed, it would be "bizu" being mistaken for someone saying "mitsubachi."

EDIT: Although just to add something, unless anything not in English is bodaciously white noise to a listener, all it usually takes is an attentive ear to discern what's being used as a pun.

It's unlikely I'm going to watch any of these since I still need to watch all of the 'classics', but I enjoy reading your reviews nonetheless.
