Fuck yeah, I went to my uncle's tonight to blow shit up and it did not disappoint
Luckily, we didn't accidentally launch fireworks at cars this time, but there were two misfires that blew up in the launching tubes. Shit exploded about twenty feet above our heads. Then we set off a bunch of spinners, those were great. Everybody got some Roman candles and set them off in the sky. Screamin' Eagles, flashers, volcanoes, sparklers, you name it.
We had a little impromptu fireworks competition with another cul-de-sac nearby about who could set off more.

Fuck yeah.

That wasn't the first time such a thing has happened. In the world wars, especially the second one, we boycotted Sauerkraut and called it "Freedom Cabbage" in the states, especially ones with heavy German influence (like Texas).

I doubt Freedom fries will be the last bout of this popping up.

Why is everyone still shooting off fireworks? Some people are trying to do stuff on the internet in peace and quiet, geeze.

So yeah, just lit off THREEE BOXESSSSSS of fireworks in front of Sloth's house. Oh goodness the pyromania. Sir Keegsley and I had an Agni Kai with sparklers, while Marcato and Sloth went all Harry Potter up in this bitch (Don't worry, I didn't let Marcato say the death spells, even though he wanted to. Sloth is safe. For now.) About half way through, our fire fighter neighbor drove by, halted to a stop in the road and got out. (Game ooooooffff) He then joined us, lit a few himself, and gave me some brilliantly unsafe ideas about what else I can do with fire (Game oooooonnn). For instance, shooting a can of propane with a 22 next to a campfire. Or refilling a retired air pack and shooting it with a .50.
Then, after many combinations of smaller fireworks, we lit off a huge one, all in a box that was probably about 3/4 cubic foot. We sat there for another 20 minutes, watching the box burn like a campfire, dropping smaller color things into it, and talking about bacon.
This is, by the way, the neighbor who gave us CURED MEATS from a BEAR that he KILLED with HIS OWN HANDS.
