(That name is just a placeholder for now.)

I asked around the forum if there was a Pikmin thread, and people said there has been but they both failed miserably, so this is my attempt at a new one. I'm not really sure if multi-posting is a big deal on this forum, but I really don't care when it comes to it, as long as the subjects of the two posts are different.

In this thread, obviously, we talk about Pikmin-related subjects.

Right now I am working on playing through the games. Or, I will be once GameStop fucking replaces my copy of Pikmin 1.

I've never ever found a copy of it because for some reason, there aren't that many here in the US

I don't remember if you were one of the people who was against GameStop, but I bought mine online and it works fine.

I had Pikmin 1 yeeaaaaaarrrs ago but I traded it in like a stupidhead. Bought it back several years later from Gamestop with Pikmin 2. Both work amazing. Both are still shitloads of fun to play.

Tip for fighting Snagrets (the bird snake things): Sometimes, when they try to come up out of the ground, their heads get stuck for like two seconds. Use the C stick to swarm them with Pikmin. Should only take a few of these sorts of hits to take them out with like no casualties.

That's what I tried to do, but my Wiimote is weird and it randomly changes the zoom-level when I am holding Down on the D-Pad.

Best way is to throw Purple Pikmin at her head, and when she threatens to roll around, call them back. Rinse and repeat. Shes not much of a threat alone, though she can spawn babies.

Oh thanks. the name was really what I was looking for. But i can see that working.

The babies are what'll fuck you up. They can eat faster than they die, so you need to punch them.

I don't know where my Pikmin 2 went ;-;

Man, Pikmins enemies were so neat you just begged to learn more about them.

Kind of disappointed that Pikmin 2 doesn't have a limit of days. That was something I really oddly enjoyed from Pikmin 1. Made it feel more pressuring to manage your time wisely.

I like having no day limit because I would take full days to just farm Pikmin for fun.

Spoiler for last treasure in Pikmin 2: You need 100 purple Pikmin for it. 100 units of heavy-lifting purple lard-asses. I can't count how many times I had to go through the dungeons (or whatever you call them) with the purple flowers in them just to get 100.

Also, the final area of Pikmin 2is the starting area of Pikmin 1.

The day limit is the only reason I can't play the 1st game. I just KNOW that I'll mess up along the way and that just pisses me off :c
