Why I do not play GSC: "because it does not interest me and the pokemon from that era are all lackluster."
Why I do not play "middle versions": "I just bought version a/b of this gen and not even a month later you announce the mid version! AAAARGH!"
Why I have not played B&W versions: "I'm gonna wait for gray version, since there will OBVIOUSLY be a gray version soon enough."
Why I do not play B/W: "........Seriously? B&W2? And it is a sequel and not a mid version? well that's just super........"

I think your reasons for all of those are fail.

GSC/HGSS will forever be the best Pokemon games in existence.

Also, the third versions are not really meant for everybody. They are a "developers cut" and add things to the game that they missed out on doing at first. For example, Crystal adds a female player and animated sprites, Emerald adds the Battle Frontier, and Platinum changes up the plot, and adds the Distortion World, plus a Battle Frontier.
The third versions are meant for people who haven't already gotten the "basic" versions, or are just hardcore fans enough that they want every game.

As shown by B2W2, there will probably not be a "Gray" version, so getting Black/White is necessary. Plus, B2W2 are sequels, not remakes or developers cuts, so to understand some of the story, you will have to have the originals as well.

No, you don't go nuts for pokemon games because you're not a fan of the games. Try to justify it all you want with all of this pretty sounding logic pertaining to middle versions and cheddar the truth is were you a fan of the series you wouldn't give a shit about any of that. I've got all of 7 DS games left for my DSi and 4 of them are pokemon games, 2 of which are from the same generation. Personally, I don't really care if you're a fan of the pokemon games or not it's just that all of that sounds like classic justification for behavior you think is undesirable.

I'm not even really a super die hard fan of the series and Pokemon games still comprise almost half of my DS library. I'd say I agree with Vrom about third games, since they don't seem to add enough to actually warrant replaying a game that is largely the exact same.
I don't see why that should matter, though; I bought Emerald, Crystal, and Yellow because those generations all came out before I was into Pokemon. With 4th and 5th gen, I'm perfectly pop flyin' with just White and Diamond.

I don't really see what "not playing the middle versions" has to do with much of anything. Avoiding B/W because you plan to buy the middle version is both contradictory and absurd.

If you really want to slap your dicks against each other to argue which Pokemon games are the best or not or whatever, please do it in the Pokemon thread. It's tiresome seeing this pop up everywhere Pokemon is mentioned; especially here since it got nothing to do with the comic.

This for everything that has a thread to call home.

Maybe there should be a sequel comic where Katie sues those trainers for what they did here.
