You keep saying my points are vague but you are not giving your own
-Color clashing has nothing to do with realism, stop trying to play that like anyone even said it
-The yellow blocks don't even need to be there, the game has been dumbed down immensely and Reznor is not a hard fight anyway

On atmosphere, something you don't seem to understand, look at the SNES one. You have darkness and lava, that shit is intimidating. You are in a boss fight. There is lava, Reznor is shooting fire at you -Holy shit a theme. Also there is yellow, works okay with the color of the lava and Reznor is on metal platforms, makes sense and looks nice.

Now the 3DS, there's no lava and some blue background. No lava what the shit? Assuming Reznor still shoots fire that means we have red fireballs on a blue background with a yellow floor with no lava and huge yellow blocks saying "Jump here you dumb fuck"

Honestly I shouldn't even need to explain this.

I don't care about anything else you said, it's nothing but "I'm okay with stagnation".

You know what else is familiar with a fuck load of newness? Mario Galaxy. Do you know what is also a good game? The answer is Mario Galaxy.

2D Marios have no effort put into them and are ugly cash grabs

Finally: My opinions are objectively correct, you cannot disprove this.

For anyone interested, Nintendo's developer roundtable info can not be found here. Apparently this was last year's. I'll find a link to this year's.

Here it is.

Don't expect updates to come too terribly fast. Or be too interesting to sit around to watch.

Yeah I have no idea what people are getting so rustled about

edit: or rather I don't see why it's such a big deal it's worth getting rustled over

"F-zero car highlighted. Includes f-zero game in nintendoland."

Good news for F-zero fans?

Meh. As an F-Zero fan myself, I'd prefer an actual game than a minigame. Mainly because a real F-Zero game would push the Wii U to its limits in terms of graphical power in theory, and a minigame won't show that.

Besides, it doesn't have the Death Race. I want my Death Race back.

Still, better than nothing I guess.

It at least acknowledges F-Zero, so that's something?

"If you keep dying in a certain area, the game will ask how you feel about it. You might also be asked to share how you are feeling if you do well. These are miiverse features."

I now imagine the WiiU being some kind of therapist.

"Okay Mario, it's time to get real. You should really get a Raccoon Suit to get through this level. Now I know Bowser kidnapped Peach, and I want to emphasize that that's NOT okay, but you can't keep throwing yourself at this level without being prepared for the obstacles. Don't worry, we'll get through this together."

nintendoland seems kind of stupid but I can respect it for what it is, that and the fact that it's representing series like F-Zero and Metroid means there'll be more interest in them and hopefully more games coming down the pipeline.

It seems to be a Wii Sports for the new system, a way to test out the various playstyles, only unlike Wii Sports, it's focusing on both the Mii's and Nintendo's history of franchises.

Also:

"Nintendo unsure of how nintendoland will be sold. This was in reference to the game possibly being a pack-in"

Be interesting to see it be a bundle deal with every system.
