Galaxy is pretty much the peak of visuals on the wii

Don't see how that's a step down to this.

You never hear anyone say Mario 64's graphics look like shit.

Hint: They do.

64 also has terrible controls

Aha I just realised, the platforms on the new one are yellow like blocks so that people know to jump at them

it clashes pretty badly with the other colors

and the Reznor models are bad, the sprites have a little smile while the models just look weird

I didn't like 64.
But seriously, I don't see how those graphics from that screenshot are "worse" than SMW's. They're different but not worse.

Another point: The old one has lava and is in a dark room, it has the atmosphere of a boss battle. the new one is in pop flyin' funtime "jump here to kill me" dinosaur land

They look pretty bad though, I'm not sure which one I'd prefer and there is 20 years between them. So is this game actually going to introduce anything new or?

I actually don't find the graphics bad at all. Were you expecting something like this?

Yes that is exactly what I wanted, there is no way to improve the aesthetics of a game other than photo realism

That rest of the game doesn't seem to be that bad, they just really fucked up on Reznor.
