It's safe to say there'll be a turning point where they find a way of exploiting some weaknesses and find a good tactics against the anti-bender weaponry. Though I'd like to restate that Korra needs to bring balance through spiritual means and gaining the trust and belief of the people. Not just blow everything up that stands in her way.

I really enjoyed seeing Lin kick some booty again and especially Tenzin. It's amazing to see some of the things that Aang most likely taught him and perhaps even developed himself.

Guhhhh poor Tahno. He was such a prick at the start but now he's completely lost his spirit. I feel so sorry for him.

Maybe when Korra masters the spiritual part of Avatardom that'll be her "Oh shit!" factor like when Aang just went apeshit on the firelord. Amon tries to "Relieve the Avatar of her duties!" and she turns his energy bending against him in one big deus ex machina filled battle.

But if Amon is already a non-bender, then reversing the spirit bending wouldn't do much--UNLESS spirit bending could block spirit bending. In which case Amon might very well be in deep trouble.

The Lion Turtle mentioned being "destroyed" as the price for having a spirit that wasn't "unbendable". Also, I find it hard to believe that Spirit Bending has only one use. It was used before all the other elements, predating the Avatar. Did the various giant creatures spend all day disabling a set of techniques that didn't yet exist?

Maybe he already knows about these limits, which is why he uses propaganda and fear tactics on his opponents before he goes for the kill.

Indeed. It might also explain why he's limited his antics to criminals and the like. Publicly failing at Spiritbending would destroy his rep so he's avoided going after one of the more prominent Benders like Korra or Tenzin.
