Oh mah goodness
I might have to grow some stuff at Sloth's house, actually. I can't fit everything I want onto my windowsill.

Dandelions grew in all over the lawn at our old house and we still need to keep it in shape for the house buyers. I spent about an hour yanking dandelions and snipping the taproots of the ones I couldn't get all the way.

I was the gardener for my whole sorority house for this past year. I took care of the whole grounds - flowers, lawn, potted plants on the patio, everything. But I just got voted to be on the executive board, so I'm not allowed to be gardener anymore.

I miss my flowers :' (

I would enjoy working in a floral department.

But I'm prolly going to work in a video store.

We grow a vegetable garden in our back yard as well as a bunch of ornamental plants/trees. We have two large white Angel Trumpet plants, a smallish PANK one, and a brand new sprout with white, PANK and yellow blooms that is still growing. My dad and my favourite flower is Hibiscus and we have like...5 or 6 different varieties outside, including a PANK wild type and a couple double-flower ones. I'll be sad when I move out of the South and can't grow them outside anymore because I'm horrible at remembering to water potted plants >> We have a few bunches of white lillies and about 3 or 4 Easter lillies and one Bird of Paradise plant. The only other big flowering plant we have outside is the gardenia bush and ahh it smells so goooooooooood

we used to have a bunch of purple iris plants and a purple plum tree and a whole lattice of jasmine and wisteria over the back porch at my old house :[ it miss it.

Inside all we have is my purple African Violet but it's...not doing so hot. The cats kept trying to eat it so mom moved it into another room and I forgot about it. I should probably put it out if its misery and get a new one. It's been around for like 4 years though :c

Strawberries are simply the best things to grow.

Alright, question time.

Does anyone know a good way of keeping pets away from plants?

Inside my house I have a cat, and I'm afraid he's going to chew everyone up as soon as it sprouts, and outside of the house I have my dog, and if he's anything like my old dog, he's going to want to eat everything as soon as it's fully grown.

Back when I had my old garden, I would just put a wire fence up around my plants in my yard, and that worked for a little while, so I guess I'll do that again.

But is there anything I can do inside of my house? There really aren't any spots where my cat can't reach.

Depends on the cat, really. Has he chewed on plants before? If not, just watch out for it, and put it in a place where it won't be easily knocked over. Maybe a window sill where you have enough things all around it that it is not a desirable walking/sitting/sprawling place for the cat.
