I learned some Lua code to make an automatic cobblestone generator/miner that feeds into an alchemist's chest with a GoED.
TOTALLY WORTH THE TIME.

What version of Java do you have?

Have you tried removing the ".techniclauncher" folder?

Did you adjust the memory amount?

Are you running 64 bit?

I have no idea what any of that stuff means.

The technic launcher didnt download as a folder, it downloaded as a .jar file.

He is taking a stab at you using a mac. The old "Mac vs PC" debate.

I don't have any experience using macs so I have to read up on how to do stuff on them.

One thing you could do is to open a terminal and do "java --version" or "java -version"
I can't remember how many dashes there are, but it is one of those. Copy the output paste it in here.

Having fun with your viruses and everything breaking down all the time, Noff?

I hope you have fun with a machine that, while designed for user friendliness, is very restrictive in it's "freedoms" and isn't actually designed to work with most things because nobody wants to work with such a restrictive system when it comprises a minority of computer users. This also includes makers of viruses and malware and such, as Macs are not especially protected against viruses, there just aren't any made for Macs.

yes, a fair reason as to why people buy macs isn't actually something built in, it's because nobody gives a shit about macs because they're flat useless.

Okay you guys, this debate is between Noff and myself. It always has been.

Plus, I have a PC for games at home. My mac is for school.

Wordsmith:

Open "Go". I have no idea where it is, but it is some kind of run function. Input this: ~/Library/Application Support/techniclauncher

Delete the contents of that folder and try to launch the game again.
