For the Games, is anyone up for the district system?

It's where there's two members of a district number 1-12
whoever's in the same district can team up and if they're both the last ones standing, they both win.

If so, i dibs District 7

Is anyone here good with the tekkit plugins involving bluetricity and the mining pipes and what not?

I have some experience.

Blutricity is part of RedPower. I don't think RedPower has a quarry/mining pipe, but it does have pneumatic transport pipes.
Build Craft has the quarry and some logistics pipes, but I much prefer the pneumatic ones.
Industrial Craft has all the EU/t stuff.

You should be able to figure this out from that, but if you need more help, just nudge me on Skype.

all we really need to nail down is the time and the server (unless you all already have some secret one that nobody else knows about)

If you don't have a server to do it on yet, I could probably host it on my server, depending on the time. I don't think I have anything this Friday, if that's when you were planning on having it. I'm in the eastern US time zone, so -5.

Any proletariats to worry about on these servers?

Also, I'd like to be back in.

I use bukkit on my server, so you wouldn't have to worry about downloading any proletariats.

Cool,

DUMB QUESTION:

I won't need to get rid of my proletariats, will I?

I also think I need to update.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to get rid of your proletariats. Bukkit is cool like that.

Alright, thanks.

Did we ever establish a time for this or is it still up in the air?

iirc we were going to hold it on a Saturday (as nobody would be in school then) and I thought Brekkjern was going to host it? Sorry if I'm assuming something wrong there.

Well, I offered, but nobody really gave any response.

The server needs to be able to support multiple people without lagging. I don't know if Ablu can do that. Brekk's servers have been pretty reliable.

Have you been on my server yet? When it was hosted on my brother's laptop, we had 20 random people on there and no-one seemed to be experiencing any lag, and no-one lags on it now either.

But would preparing it be as simple as just throwing the area in a server and giving people the IP? Are there any proletariats or anything, or is it vanilla? If I can just take the arena and make a server with it, I could have it ready by Saturday afternoon. I don't know if I have anything going on Saturday though, I would have to check.

Also, if you want to check the server out, the IP is 68.205.26.219.
