I do but I remember having one of those and I mean if it can't hold a single card in a sleeve in a slot I don't think it'll hold multiple lands.

Then there's still the whole "only five permanents at one time" thing. Also I don't know where exactly you'd go about putting any exiled cards, since they couldn't go in the graveyard.

I don't have my cards in sleeves, and I'm pretty sure there's enough room in it for several cards per slot.

If you're referring to my statement, my sleeves are at least 2mm thick.

Even then, maybe 3 unsleeved cards in a slot MAX.
And that's a generous max.

Just found out yesterday that this is a card that exists.

I want to build around it so badly but I don't know if I should just do a normal or an EDH deck. Not big on monored but it'd be fun as fuck to screw around with in EDH as far as I can tell.

So I found some Archenemy sets at a Wal-Mart today.

I was not aware that these actually existed outside of the video games.

Has anyone actually tried one of these? How does it run with actual people? Is it balanced at all?

I think I've got problems, since I buy packs and open them all the time for no daisies reason.

I was out at walmart today and got this thing with 3 packs and a special card. I figured "hey, even if the packs have nothing but garbage the special card will be interesting, maybe."

Then said special card was a foil mountain.

But whatever, I opened the packs. The first two were Magic 2012. First pack was okay, I guess. Got a sundial of the infinite as the rare. Went ahead and opened the second, and I got a Sorin. I thought that was great, especially considering that standard sorin is my favorite 'walker card out there (though tamiyo's a very close second.) Third pack was mirrodin besieged, though. I figured i'd get nothing noteworthy, but I got a glissa and a foil phyrexian hydra.

So all in all, I'd say it was worth the eleven bucks. especially considering I also got a nice pile of good commons and uncommons that aren't really notable but are always useful, like another llanowar elves.

Got a Restoration Angel and some other cool cards at the Avacyn Restored pre-release. I came second in the draft with the best players which felt amazing.

Also Green White is pretty busted in limited. Like, there's no removal so your guys can just go to town. If you draft, give that or Red Green a try, focusing on soulbond.

I was looking through my box(es) of cards a few minutes ago because I figured I should actually make a deck with this stuff i've got lying around and figured I'd look up some prices on various cards so I could trade them in at my LGS and save a few dollars on whatever I wind up buying there tomorrow and jesus since when are wurmcoil engine, geralf's messenger and (to a lesser extent) stromkirk noble worth so much?

Also I threw together a probably really bad deck built around sacing humans with demonmail haubrek and then dumping a bonehoard/wrath of geists on whatever. maybe a boneyard wurm. Thought of putting some darksteel myrs in there for good measure but it just felt out of place.

Going to a The Spoils seasonal tournament.
Like 0.0001% of my city's population play it so it should be a small tourney.

I went to the Avacyn Restored prerelease after all tonight, after spending a week debating whether or not I should even bother. Got there around 4:30, and just got home a few minutes ago (around 10:00).

I pulled a Tamiyo in my second pack! I really didn't expect that at all. The one card I wanted more than anything else, and I got it that easily. Then I wound up selling it for $20 back to the LGS because I realized that it'd only go down in price relatively quickly and I could just pick it up again later and make some nice cheddar right now. Wound up getting some sleeves, a box, and a copy of Sonic 3, but that isn't important.

Anyway, I made a UW deck based mostly on humans and angels, and it uh... didn't work as well as I hoped. Went 1-3 the whole night, but honestly it was still one of the most enjoyable nights of the year, at the very least.

Also I got to pull the final seal off the helvault and it just felt so, so good, even if it was just huge cards, tokens, and dice. Man I can't wait for RTR to come so I can do all this again.

I'm so fucking hilarious.
