Why has no one started a topic for this game yet?

Anyway, tonight, I am going to waste some of my cheddar on buying Phantom Hourglass and force my mom to buy me a new stylus for my DS. Why? Why!? Because the game calls to me. The return of Windwaker Link calls to me.

Lyra...
Lyra...
We have cookies... Lyra...
Come to the dark side...

Luckily I most definitely have enough. 8D Only doing this cuz SSB: B was delayed.
----
Gaah. My DS light is on red and I don't have my charger and SOMETHING -glares at DS accusingly- doesn't take BATTERIES so I can't play anymore, but I started about 15 minutes ago and my hand already aches from holding up that **** stylus. Blech.

Plus, I can't kill the rat that has the muddafudging key! -chases it down like a cat and tears out its innards-

Like most Zelda games, it's too easy.

I didn't sleep a wink last night, was too busy playing this.. Oh man, worked sucked badly.
But anyway, I think the game rocked. The controls are perfect, a nice amount of side quests, purty visual, pretty much just a worthy sequel to windwaker.

I will give you the fact that it was easy, well, throughout the entire game I didn't have to use one potion. But that aside, most LOZ games are fairly easy combat-wise; the puzzels are where it's at.

It was great except the ending.

SPOILING SHIT: How many talking whales will Link meet?

It was a good game, but too short for me. I spent one week finishing it and another one finding all the stuff I left behind. And I still haven't found everything...

Oh no! the key is missing!

another thing I found strange about this game is when I started the file, instead of "Link" as the default name, it had my real name. :o

This is Temple of the Ocean King, third time here, B2 floor... But where I circled something on the map where the key is, it's not there. I certainly don't have it. -_-

Linebeck is the best ever.
Honestly I'm not a fan of the "OH IT WAS ALL A DREAM OR WAS IT" sort of endings (and they always seem to have to do with giant whales, too...) so I was kindof disappointed. Apparently Linebeck still exists in the "real" dimension, though, so yay. Because Linebeck is awesome.
Alot of DS games just use the name you provide in the general settings for you as a default.

...I didn't use my real name for the settings... I always go by Lyra 'cept in other stuff. 8D Like, teachers, friends... Parents... But on video games, you cannot make me call myself by my real name! >D

Besdies, the first letter was uncapitalized, so that is so not me. OR IS IT. Oh, whatever.

-still searching for that key- This is blasphemy. The rest of my schedule goes like this- Get some stuff ready for tommorow and days after that... then play Ocarina of Time until I drop off while still holding the remote.

Which means, no Phantom Hourglass. Not :awesome:?

I didn't think the ending was bad.
But yeah, just workin' on getting all the ship parts now.
Playing this really put me in the mood for another zelda game, I'm thinking about buying the Minish Cap. Has anyone played it yet, any good ? Gamespot rated it pretty well, but that doesn't hold much value to me.

it's decent for a rental, not something I'd buy, it's kinda short, and easy until you get to the final boss, which isn't hard, just annoying

The people over at Zelda Headquarters have a serious thing for whales and owls.

We were on our way back from the Baltimore Aquarium and I beat the first dungeon again in a matter of 1-digit minutes. (because I started over again 8D)

Bite me.

EDIT: aaand I dreamt about sailing from playing for that short amount of time before dinner. Bite me again.
I thought it worked pretty well in Link's Awakening, but I can't see why it would be a good idea to do it a second time.
It all just reinforces my idea that the timeline is essentially a few retellings of a couple stories. LA = PH, n e 1?
