Dunno how many people have heard about this, but a new Miyazaki film.

When I say new I mean at least for the US, it may have been out in Japan for awhile, forgive my ignorance if it has.

edit-yes i am ignorant I guess, its been out in japan for almost a year now.

While I was in Japan, Ponyo commercials were on the T.V. often. I wish we could've seen ittt. I was given a Ponyo handkerchief from my Japanese Student and I just can't bring myself to use it I love it so. She even taught me a bit of the theme song. lol
I heard this whole film was painted in watercolor, which looks stunning! I can't wait for it to come out! : DD

I'm incredibly surprised my sister hasn't told me about this. She is a huge Miyazaki fan. At least, she was a few years ago.

Too bad I can't see it in theaters because it's gonna be a bunch of screaming little kids. And I'm 17... gonna have to wait for the DVD.

Just do what I do: Wait like a week after release and see it in the middle of the day. You'll usually have the theatre to yourself.

Looks beautiful. Of course it's going to be good.

And what's wrong with a Jonas Brother doing voice acting? You don't have to look at him.

I'm more impressed/excited/amused that Tina Fey is in it.

Also, in the English version of Nausicaa, Shia LeBeouf and Uma Thurman were voice actors. Take that.

Well, I like Uma Thurman and Shia LeBouf. I don't like the Jonas Brothers.
Personal opinion though.

Yes, the movie looks gorgeous. I wouldn't expect anything less from Miyazaki.
