Okay, here is the tale about what happened the first time I tried playing here.

Oh what is it. Bon helping me in the beginning. I start building, gaining exp and such. Everything goes well. Then Bon says bye and I get killed by a boar.

This happened days ago too.

someone took my rabbit skins from the middle drying rack AND took my leather from the tanning tub i had by my farmpatch.

if it wasn't you guys, then maybe someone came in and took our shit again.

i didn't take from the leather tub inside our settlement though

Apologies for the double-post! But I've made an alt on a different account who will hold the single key to our palisade. I can't be on all the time, you know.
I don't think I'll make the username and password public, but I'm still contemplating.
Use him well.

I may as well type out the rules for keys and palisades here, just to make sure.
Also because I'm lazy and don't want to type it out multiple times to people who already know the unspoken rules of HnH.

Do NOT leave the key in a container. In fact, it'd be better to just leave the key in Rootbeer Hagrid's inventory at all times. Never take it out. I don't see any reason as to why you'd need to even take it out, since he is no one's main character. All he exists for is to open and shut the door.

When using the key, remember to please close the gate after you if you leave for foraging or something. We don't want unwanted visitors.

Never share his username and password with people you meet only in-game, though this is self-explanatory.


Please be ruled by common sense when using him!
You wouldn't leave your front door unlocked when going out shopping for hours, would you?

Looks like they've been busy.

So are people actually still playing this? I know this thread is from waaaay back and that I haven't played for over a year, but I rather enjoyed it when I did play and I've been meaning to get back into it for a while now.

i started my own small settlement last night. I kinda got a jump start since i found an abandoned cart in the wilderness.

I built a boat and sailed downriver, found that someone killed a boar and left it there without skinning it or slaughtering it. It was next to a crate filled with rabbit fur and intestines. I liberated the lot.

Went further downriver, found another boat. Commandeered it. We now have two boats.

I ate some of your food, then decided to replenish what I had eaten and go hunt for more.

But I ran into a boar, and his attack left me without any SHP, so I ended up having to eat even more of your food.

This game seems intended on making me some kind of leech.

so i got into the boat and continued downriver, right?

i found another boat

we now have four boats

i only built one
