Hmm... I still do not know why .exe version is not working. When I open it up through roaming, .techniclauncher is either not there, or there's nothing in it. This is confusing... And the .jar version is appearantly missing a substantial amount of SMP proletariats, thus I cannot play on SMP.

You need to download the Tekkit client: Windows - Mac/Linux

Download it and launch it. Select Tekkit from the dropdown menu on the left and press options in your lower right corner. Mark "Always use development builds". If you need to go back to an older build, mark "Manual build selection" and use the dropdown list to select the build you need.


Did you follow the last part of that?

I'm just looking for the solution on the Yogscast forum, because I cannot even get to the launcher, is the problem. I might have it, though.

It's still the same problem I am having with SMP on the .jar version.

That is the same error you get if you have not selected development builds from the options menu on the lower right corner of the launcher.
