Giggity.

Rock and metal are my life, but I really listen to anything with a groovin' beat.

Lately I've had a thing for garage bands. And bands with lots of bass.

So guys, what are your favorite types of music? I like punk, metal and techno. I am also fond of the Gorillaz.

I dislike most things that have been made completely at a computer without any real instruments. Most else I can give a chance, but that soulless crap is just no.

If you think electro music is "soulless", you are ignorant and an idiot, D-Vid.

And that is not "most things that have been made completely at a computer without any real instruments". Besides, a lot of club music is really great. Armin Van Buuren comes to mind.

Are clubs your only way of listening to music or something? Buy some speakers for your computer and a whole new world will open up to you.

Hating an entire genre because of one facet that you don't even have to expose yourself to is ridiculous.

I don't go to clubs for that exact reason.
It just kinda irks me. Put in a drumline that someone who played drums for a week could play, some bass and synth and effects. Bam I made music where's my cheddar? Intention behind that piece of music besides PARTY WHOOOO? many a time none.

You're over-simplifying and generalizing, D-vid.

Yeah maybe, but I've been blasted too much by stuff that's horrible to actively search for anything I might like.

princess brothel: At least the music I listen to does not have such easy guitar riffs. I wish I could play even half of the stuff ._.
